The Defense Technology Cluster (DTC) seeks to become the recognized source for resources and information on the talent and capabilities of firms in the greater San Antonio area to support defense technology requirements and for fostering collaboration to create jobs for the region.

Our vision is to create a cooperative and collaborative, broad-based, active and meaningful environment to foster the creation, recognition, growth and support of DTC companies among San Antonio’s business, government, academic communities.

The DTC has numerous goals:

• Proactively attract defense technology work to the San Antonio region

• Provide a conduit of information concerning requirements to defense contractors

• Create and sustain and awareness within the defense related government organizations of the technical capabilities available in the San Antonio region

• Provide an environment where small businesses and large businesses can learn and work together to deliver solutions to the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and other defense related requirements

We are pleased to be a part of the Military Transformation Task Force and the Business and Workforce Development Committee. I encourage you to learn more about these efforts and to join us as we support the Military Markets and the entire San Antonio region.
