The Military Health Sub-committee seeks to be the Greater San Antonio community portal through which businesses, large and small, private and public, can find synergistic ways to grow through cooperative efforts.
The forums provided for your convenience provide an opportunity to foster meaningful communication across the broad spectrum of the health community – research, education, and care – and the bio-industry that supports it. Together we can find opportunities for growth, solutions for the barriers that hinder us, and new partnerships that give San Antonio a growing reputation as a medical giant.
The health sub-committee has numerous goals:
- Proactively attract health – research, education, care, and supporting industries – work to the San Antonio region
- Provide a conduit of information concerning requirements to defense contractors
- Create and sustain an awareness within the defense related government organizations of the technical capabilities available in the San Antonio region
- Provide an environment where small businesses and large businesses can learn and work together to deliver solutions to the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and other defense related requirements
We are pleased to be a part of the Military Transformation Task Force and the Business and Workforce Development Committee. I encourage you to learn more about these efforts and to join us as we support the Military Markets and the entire San Antonio region.
